I checked that document and that references other documents too.īut this opens fine on Win 7 / Excel 2013 from the network. xlsm file in Windows 10 File Explorer, Excel itself loads quickly, but it then takes around 5-10 seconds for the workbook to open. It has lots of tabs and in each they reference one other document on the network. I get the same too if I open it from the network drive.
Yet on new machine it takes around 3 minutes. One user who is mid-migration has pointed out a finance spreadsheet he uses (approx 7MB in size) takes around 30 seconds to open on Excel 2013. But some legacy stuff has meant a few users are still Win 7 / Office 2013 (32-bit).
